We are a small, fully-remote, well-funded, and experienced team. We previously built, launched, scaled and exited Parse.ly, a digital analytics platform, that processed >1B events/day for 100s of customers. We sold Parse.ly to Automattic (the maintainers of WordPress) which was their largest acquisition in terms of both revenue and cost.
What you should have
Experience & Background
- 5+ years of experience in strategic roles such as management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or previous Chief of Staff positions
- Proven track record of working directly with C-level executives in high-growth technology companies
- Experience with enterprise software, SaaS, or AI/ML companies strongly preferred
- Background in scaling operations during rapid growth phases (Series A through IPO)

- Strategic Thinking: Ability to see the big picture while managing tactical execution
- Executive Presence: Comfortable interacting with senior leadership, board members, and key customers
- Project Management: Exceptional ability to manage multiple complex, cross-functional initiatives simultaneously
- Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with experience creating executive-level presentations
- Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis capabilities, comfortable with data-driven decision making
- Adaptability: Thrives in ambiguous, fast-changing environments typical of high-growth startups
Technical Requirements
- Proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools (Google Workspace, Notion, Slack, project management platforms)
- Experience with data analysis tools and creating executive dashboards
- Familiarity with CRM systems and business intelligence platforms
- Understanding of enterprise software sales cycles and customer success metrics
What you’ll help us do
Strategic Operations & Execution
- Partner with the CEO to develop and execute strategic initiatives that drive company growth and market expansion
- Lead cross-functional projects that span multiple departments and require executive-level coordination
- Serve as the founders' strategic thought partner on key business decisions, market positioning, and competitive strategy
- Drive operational excellence across the organization, identifying and resolving bottlenecks that could impede our growth trajectory
Executive Support & Communication
- Manage strategic priorities and key stakeholder relationships
- Facilitate executive team meetings and ensure follow-through on key decisions and action items
- Serve as a liaison between the executive team and various departments, ensuring clear communication and alignment
Business Intelligence & Analysis
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators and executive dashboards
- Conduct strategic research and analysis to support business development and product strategy
- Monitor industry developments in enterprise AI to identify opportunities and threats
Organizational Development
- Support scaling initiatives as we grow from startup to enterprise-scale organization
- Drive process improvements and operational efficiency across departments
- Assist with talent acquisition strategy and organizational design decisions
- Champion company culture and values during periods of rapid growth
Special Projects & Initiatives
- Lead high-priority, time-sensitive projects that require executive oversight
- Coordinate with external partners, investors, and key customers on strategic initiatives
